WIP Wednesday (a day late) December 6

I love living in rural Ontario, but internet service is a bit sketchy – sometimes non-existent!  Sheesh!

Now, on to the subject at hand…Works in Progress!

It is getting pretty busy with lots of Christmas activities and functions, so my sewing time has been seriously curtailed, but I still managed to get a few “mug rugs” made up.  My sewing room looks like a fabric explosion but making up these mug rugs is using up lots of little pieces and in the end, making a bit of room.

Modern mug rug #1 – I know this photo is upside-down, but I can’t seem to fix it!!!

Progresss report on other projects…

‘Scandinavian Stars’ – my backing fabric has not yet arrived, so no progress;

‘Christmas in July’ – backing fabric has now been found (decided upon) and is ready to be basted and quilted – no progress;

‘Envy’ Quilt – backing fabric has been found, ready to baste and quilt. (still no progress)

‘Surprise’ Quilt – looking for backing fabric (no progress)

Projects in the que:

‘Sea of Stars’ – I am starting another project (yes, really).  Elizabeth of Don’t Call Me Betsy is hosting a quilt-a-long and I have decided to join in.  I have ordered fabric in the Sew Mama Sew line and can’t wait for it to get here…..check out her blog if you want to sew along…

Now I am heading over to Lee’s Freshly Pieced and see what everyone else is up to, even though the linky party is closed…see you there! 🙂

Until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
