52 Photos Project – Gallery 11 – red, white & blue

I may have stated before that I live in a great area with lots to see and do.  This week was no different!  Bella’s prompt is {red, white & blue} and I have what I think is a GREAT photo!

This is the United Empire Loyalist Flag. Prince Edward County was settled by UEL settlers in the mid to late 1700s. The flag flies over the Mariner’s Museum in South Bay (South-East end of the county). Even though they are not with the theme of  red, white & blue, here are a few more shots of this cool out-door museum!

Plaque at the base of the flag.

Lighthouse moved from False Duck Island (just to the east of the southern tip of the county)

Hope you enjoyed our museum…come visit ‘the county’ some time!

Thanks Bella for a great prompt that ‘prompted’ a fun visit! Head on over to the 52 Photos Project and see what everyone else has presented 🙂

Until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
