I’m back…

Hello everyone!  I’ve been away from blogging for a while.  I’ve been away on vacation and life got busy!  ’nuff said!

I want to take this opportunity to wish all my friends & family (real & virtual) a Happy Thanksgiving!  It’s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.  If you are not celebrating this weekend, I still wish you all the best!

I will be getting caught up on several topics in the coming days, so stay tuned.

For now, I’d like to share some wonderful photos of the lovely fall colours in my neck of the woods…

C Fowler - Fall Colour 2

This is a seed pod of the giant Magnolia trees that we saw while on vacation in the South Eastern United States…this particular one is at Middleton Place, a beautiful plantation on the outskirts of Charleston, SC

C Fowler - Fall Colours 1

A maple leaf, also taken at Middleton Place.

An early morning view of the mist over Picton, Ontario

C Fowler - Fall Colour 4

Milkweed! I love when they ‘explode’ and the silky seeds play on the breezes.

C Fowler - Fall Colour 5

This is a corn-stalk – it is at least 2 feet taller than I am. I keep hearing that Rogers & Hammerstein song from the musical, Oklahoma! (…and the corn is as high as an elephant’s eye!…)

C Fowler - Fall Colour 7

This is just behind my house…so pretty!

Fall bounty at a local farm stand!

Thanks for visiting…more posts soon!

…and Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
