WIP Wednesday …

Hello there. Just because I have been absent from blogging, doesn’t mean that I haven’t been quilting!

First, I have a finish. Baltimore Pinwheels is complete! It looks wonderful. (At least I think so). It was a labor of love. There was lots of repetition; sometimes I had to really push myself to continue. Perseverance paid off and I am very pleased with it!

Excuse the poor lighting…it gets dark early these days and it’s been raining all day here.

I machine quilted myself; a feat as it is slightly larger than a queen-size. I used straight long quilting in only one direction. I kept the quilting to a minimum to let the pattern and fabrics shine.

Next, a progress report. Too Many Margaritas is complete and I took it along on vacation for hand quilting. I have made good progress…

I am using a yellow thread which looks great!

Here is a close-up of my stitching. I still have to remove my marking lines, but you get the idea.

That’s my show & tell for this week. Head on over to Lee’s Freshly Pieced to see what everyone else is working on.

Until next time, Connie šŸ˜ƒ
