Natures beauty & power

Some of you may have heard that an ice storm swept through our area.  When all was said & done, we had approximately an inch of ice on everything.  There was lots of damage, but at the same time, it was incredibly beautiful.

We had 2-1/2 days with no power, but that wasn’t as bad as many others…but we took it easy, walked around looking at the beauty, taking photos, chatting.

I heard a great quote the other day:

“The difference in an ordeal and adventure is attitude.”

That is how we decided to look at the situation.  So go ahead and grab a beverage and enjoy the tour….
