Posted in My 'hood

This is my week:

February is almost over. This has been a wicked winter in Eastern Ontario. I’m just sharing a few little bits of my week…to show it’s not been all bad!

The sun came out on Monday, which was a holiday for us (Family Day). We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and later a long hike through Sandbanks Provincial Park (more on that in another post)

I’ve been knitting again. Something about the colder weather makes me want to pick up my needles again. This will be a lighter than air shawl/scarf. If I’m feeling ambitious thus weekend, I’ll add a cute hat. The colour is called “bonfire”. It called to me in the shop!!!

I said we are having a wicked winter. This is my backyard! Those drifts are 5′ high.

Yesterday gave me a beautiful sunrise. It was MUCH warmer and of course, produced some pretty fog.

How has your week been?

Until next time, Connie 😄

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
