That was this month’s assignment for my foto club. It was harder than I thought it would be…mostly the “getting out” after dark part. I no longer live in an urban area and taking pictures after dark means you need something with light (at least a little bit of light) ….which there isn’t much of out here.
I did quite a bit of reading before the ‘supermoon’ and was thrilled that I had some acceptable shots. Here is my first attempt as it was rising before the sun set: I was getting more comfortable and produced a few closer shots:
Riding on this small success, I waited until a little later, when it was dark and am very happy with the full moon showing so much detail:
A few days later, we had some amazing storms…this was the view behind me as I was driving home…I just HAD to pull over to take some photos. This is just after sunset:
I was driving home late one evening and stopped on our Main Street. I call this one, “working late”:
Here is the local coffee shop, a little quieter than during the morning rush:
I love this view of the street in my rear view mirror:
I suppose this should have been first…I call it “ghost”. I was getting the feel of my manual settings. I like how my hubby, coming into the room, looks transparent:
I forgot to check my camera battery when heading out for the fireworks on Canada Day…lesson learned 😉 These were taken with my iPhone 4s, not great but interesting:
Thank you for visiting.
Until next time…Connie 😃
