While away on vacation, I missed several weeks of Bella’s 52 Photos Project. I have challenged myself to post something for every week this year. Here are my belated submissions:
Gallery 20 :: end of the season
Nothing says ‘end of summer’ more than seeing all the flowers go to seed. However, I like to think that they are just getting ready to sleep for a while and bring us joy again next year.
Gallery 21 :: my wish that came true
The very first time that my hubby and I drove through Prince Edward County, over 18 years ago, we knew that we wanted to settle here. It is so beautiful with gentle rolling hills, pretty farms & livestock, different types of waterfront, parkland, quaint towns, lots of farm to table restaurants, wineries, artisans….etc, etc. Our dream came true five years ago when we purchased this little house, surrounded by mature maple trees. There is even a stream on the property!
Gallery 23 :: star
My hubby’s favourite flower is a hibiscus. I always have thought that the center looks like a star. I found this one in a pretty hedge made up entirely of hibiscus. It was a riot of colour.
Gallery 23 :: landscape
We love road trips. This shot is taken in Virginia on the I-81, a short hike from where we stopped to stretch our legs while on the road. It was a hot, hazy late summer day.
So that makes me all caught up…I look forward to the next prompt and your next visit.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
