Gratitude Week :: Day one

Last year I discovered a wonderful blog by michelle gd. (Please go check it out). She writes poetry, that touches my heart. It’s like she in my head on occasion. She take beautiful photos…stunning in their simplicity. And she started a “Gratitude Week”. You can follow along, you can join in, she will even send you ‘gratitude notes’ if you sign up.

Last year I thoroughly enjoyed the idea of Gratitude Week and jumped on the bandwagon. (Thanks michelle!). I enjoyed it so much that I’m participating again this year. …so here we go…
IMG_2450.JPGI found this pile of leaves in my back yard and snapped a photo before my hubby raked them up! I am grateful for the four seasons. I may grumble about the cold weather, but I do love the changes the seasons bring. Look at the colour! …and texture …and this was quickly snapped with my iPhone…no filter either. I’m not quite ready for the cold of winter that is just around the corner, but am already excited for the photo opportunities that the snowfall will bring; and really, spring isn’t too far away…and then summer again.

Don’t forget to head on over to michelle gd. Join in. If you want to share on Instagram, remember to add the hashtag #gratitudeweek_2014.

Thanks for visiting…until next time, Connie ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.

  1. Me too Connie, I loved practicing our gratitude last year with each other via our blogs and I love the connection we all have and that we can be grateful together. I’m grateful I get to see your four seasons through your lens via your blog!
