Gratitude Week :: Day two

Today is Remembrance Day in Canada…I am grateful for all the individuals that gave the ultimate sacrifice for my freedom and way of life….and for all those who are still defending our rights and freedom.

I captured the early morning sun just as it was touching our local cenotaph.  Ceremonies will be held here later this morning…at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month…

I’m also grateful that michelle gd has created Gratitude Week.  Go check out her blog 🙂

Thanks for visiting, until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.

    1. I love our little town (population 4000)…they have so much spirit, and always have. I’ve only been here for 5 years, but it feels like forever. I was so happy that it was a sunny morning and I was there at the right time, catching the sunrise on the monument!

      Thanks 🙂
