Gratitude Week :: Day six

Today, I’m grateful to be able quilt. It is one of my creative outlets. It also calms me; something about the repetitive nature of the craft. Cutting, sewing, pressing, quilting. Each step is repeated often. IMG_1931.JPG Currently I’m putting together a baby quilt for my newest grand-daughter, due to make her appearance between Christmas & New Year’s. So I better get busy….

I’m grateful for so many things… My family, my friends (including ones I’ve not even met). I have a nice, warm & comfortable home. I live in a beautiful part of Southern Ontario. I have sufficient food to eat. I have clothes on my back. I have no real ‘wants’. Who could ask for better than that.

I thank michelle gd for the opportunity for organizing this event. It really brings home how grateful I am and how blessed I am.

Until next time, Connie 😃
