Here it is…the last day of December 2014. It’s a good time to look back.
My photo club assignment for January is to pick my 5 “best of 2014” photos! Oh my goodness; it’s as hard as picking a favorite child! After hours and hours of looking through photos, I narrowed it down to 35 favorites….and even that was difficult. With the help of my hubby, we spent a fun afternoon picking the top five! (I will do a separate post on that after my photo club meeting),
So here the 30 that didn’t make the final cut. Grab a drink, get comfy and enjoy. (click on the first photo to scroll through the slide show).
Last winter was a long, hard one. That makes for some wonderful photo opportunities. This is another good example of sun & shadow play. (Sandbanks Provincial Park)

One of the many inland waterways in Florida. This one is lined with mangroves. (Vetran’s Park, Pinellas, FL)
I love pelicans. This year there were so many, after several years of decline. They are so graceful when they are flying! (Madeira Beach, FL)
I love being by the seaside. The water is different everyday. This morning the sun was shining, waves were crashing & birds were everywhere. (Madeira Beach, FL)
