Five Photos, Five Stories – #4

I have been invited by Elizabeth of TeandPaper to join the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge: “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”. I met Elizabeth on Instagram earlier this year. She posts photos & stories, poetry, creative journals…she has inspired me!

14378578606_3b211b4ed4_oMeet Chester…Chester Chipmunk.  He is a bit territorial.  A friend and I were walking along a lovely trail in a local conservation area last spring.  Suddenly…without warning, Chester sent down an awful scolding.  We must have crossed some invisible line, or come too close to his home.  He certainly startled us.  He continued his little tirade for a very long while after we had gone.  I did manage to get a photo of his little beady-eye stare!  Maybe he was just camera shy? …or, horror of horrors, I got his bad side. 😉

Today I would like to challenge my East Coast friend, Jane.  She read my first post in this challenge and asked to be included…She is a quilter, avid photographer and recently started pottery.  We both belong to the same Photo-a-day group, which she administers for a small group of virtual friends.  Jane blogs over at Just Stuff.  Check it out!

Until next time, Connie 🙂
