May 2015 – week twenty one

Here we are with another week of Fat Mum Slim’s Photo-a-Day.  I really enjoy this project.  It makes me stop and smell the roses, so to speak.  I look at my surroundings in a different way.  It also makes me take a little bit of ‘me’ time each day.  Looking at what others are posting gives me inspiration, joy and a look at all corners of the world.  And I must say, the people I interact with on this project, are extremely positive.

Now on to this week’s photos:

May 18 – musical; this is a part of our rather eclectic music collection. We have everything from “Cream” to “Mozart”; show tunes, jazz, blues & country…and much more…

May 19 – my mood today; a little foggy, like the weather due to seasonal allergies.

May 20 – equal; it’s lilac season here, I love the purple & white varieties equally.

May 21 – in a drawer; this is my baking drawer. It’s a bit of a jumble, but think of the possibilities.

May 22 – weather; still a bit chilly, but it looks like it’s going to be a great day. This is the view at the end of my driveway as I leave for work.

May 23 – good times; a home made pizza arty is always a good time.

May 24 – rule of thirds; A favourite shot from our vacation in Charleston, SC.  Bicycles outside of the hotel, waiting to help you tour the city.  I think it really ‘fits the bill’ for the rule of thirds, don’t you?

Thank you for visiting.  I love reading your comments.  Remember you can join in the fun by following Fat Mum Slim on Instagram #fmsphotoaday or follow me @basildonkitchens.

Until next time, Connie šŸ™‚

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
