June/July 2015 – week twenty seven

Welcome to this week’s edition of photo-a-day. I am currently following Bethadilly, the blog. Check it out if you get a chance.

On to this week’s photos:

June 29 – what I’m reading;  I picked up this book while on vacation in Charleston, SC. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It’s a great story with good characters, but I REALLY loved that we had wandered down many of the streets & laneways mentioned in the book.

June 30 – down the street; this is the view down our little country road. There had been rain earlier but the sun came out by the time I got home after work to take the shot.

July 1 – beneath my feet; I live in a small rural town with some great shops that have kept the vintage features of the buildings. This particular shop has a wonderful floor.

July 2 – faceless; remembering a lovely morning on the beach in Florida

July 3 – blurry; I had fun taking this shot of the morning sunshine on my front yard as I was leaving for work.

July 4 – stars & stripes; a pretty needlepoint I purchased on one of our driving holidays in the U.S.

July 5 – my view today;  over the back fence this morning.

Thank you for visiting. Remember you can follow along on Instagram #thebethadillychallenge or follow me @basildonkitchens

Have a great week!

Until next time. Connie 😃

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
