The Daily Post’s Photo Challenge

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Today Was a Good Day.”

I have many “good days”. Sometimes they are just little moments that make them special, sometimes it’s the whole day.

This photo was taken on one of those “whole days” being special.

We love traveling vacations, especially when we can drive ourselves, allowing us to stop and explore when something strikes our fancy.  This was taken at Middleton Place, a plantation, just outside of Charleston, SC.  We allowed ourselves the entire day to explore, at leisure, the 65 acre National Historic Landmark.  It truly was a good day!

Thank you for visiting.

Until next time, Connie 🙂

Today Was a Good Day

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.

    1. I love ‘live oaks’…they are so different from anything we have here in Canada. Spanish Moss is magical to me. These particular trees are apparently so old they may have been around when Columbus discovered America!

  1. Connie, I’ve only been to Hilton Head in South Carolina and hope to someday visit more of the state. This looks like a lovely spot! I can see why it was a good day!
