52 Photos Project – week 18: “stack or pile”

Welcome to week 18 of Bella’s 52 Photos Project. This week’s prompt is ‘stack or pile’. When I first saw this prompt, it had me thinking of nice, neatly stacked items. Then I remembered a ‘pile’ that I drove by on a regular basis…

This used to be one of the barracks at old Camp Picton. It is now being used for many different purposes.  Businesses operate out of some of the buildings; artists create in others; the Air Cadets have a glider school, and of course, storage.  Several of the buildings are in very poor condition. Maintenance costs are very high.  The roof on this one just gave way and the entire building just collapsed. Now it is an interesting ‘pile’ of rubble.

Here is another view of the same building:

Thank you for visiting.  Don’t forget to head over to Bella’s Flickr page to check what others are posting.  You can also follow on Instagram #52photosproject or follow me @basildonkitchens.

Until next time, Connie 🙂
