52 Photos Project – week 19: “apple”

Welcome back to Bella’s 52 Photos Project.  This week’s prompt is “apple”; perfect for the beginning of autumn.

We are just into September and apples are showing up at all the local farm stands.  Traveling around the countryside you can see apples turning red on the trees.

I just happened upon this pretty little orchard on my way home last night.  The sun was low in the sky and casting a wonderful golden glow.  (remember you can see larger versions just by clicking on any photo)

I love cooking with apples…apple crisp is a family favourite.  What do you like to make with apples?

Thank you for visiting.  Remember to check our Bella’s Flickr group or follow along on Instagram #52photosproject.  You can also follow me @basildonkitchens.

Until next time, Connie 🙂

  1. We have apple trees on our newly acquired property. Not enough time in the day right now to do anything with them but feed them to horses. But maybe I’ll make an apple crisp this weakend. That sounds like a good idea. 😉
