Deck-ade the Halls: Part 6

Welcome back to my Quilting for Christmas.  To bring you up to date, I have been working on my “Deck-ade the Halls” quilt, with hopes to have it finished for the holiday season.  (If you are interested in making this project, you can download the pattern here.)

There are 10 sections to this quilt.  The first being the list of supplies, and the last being the finishing instructions.  To date, I have completed the Three Wise Gingerbread Men, Star-Studded, Vintage Ornaments, Santa’s Stockings and Season of Giving.

Today I am working on Download #7.  It is called “Holiday Homecoming”.  This is another easy block, depicting three charming wreaths, complete with festive bows.

Here is the finished Holiday Homecoming block (10″ x 31-1/2″):

I’m including some statistics on this quilt.  People always ask, “How many pieces are in that quilt?”, so I will let you know as we go along.

  1. Three Wise Gingerbread Men – 92 pieces
  2. Star-Studded – 88 pieces
  3. Vintage Ornaments – 146 pieces
  4. Santa’s Stockings – 94 pieces
  5. Season of Giving – 36 pieces
  6. Holiday Homecoming – 71 pieces
  7. Currently total pieces in this quilt…527 pieces.

Sic blocks completed, two more to go.  It’s coming together nicely.  Here are what is already completed. (you can see the full size image by clicking on them)

Thank you for visiting…you are helping to keep me on track.

Until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
