Welcome back to my Quilting for Christmas. To bring you up to date, I have been working on my “Deck-ade the Halls” quilt, with hopes to have it finished for the holiday season. (If you are interested in making this project, you can download the pattern here.)
There are 10 sections to this quilt. The first being the list of supplies, and the last being the finishing instructions. To date, I have completed the Three Wise Gingerbread Men, Star-Studded, Vintage Ornaments, Santa’s Stockings, Season of Giving and Holiday Homecoming.
Today I am working on Download #8. It is called “Trim the Tree”. This makes three fir trees, ready for decorating.
Here is the finished Trim the Tree block (12-1/2″ x 30-1/2″):
I’m including some statistics on this quilt. People always ask, “How many pieces are in that quilt?”, so I will let you know as we go along.

- Vintage Ornaments – 146 pieces
- Santa’s Stockings – 94 pieces

Thank you for visiting…you are helping to keep me on track.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
