It’s been awhile since I’ve posted to Bella’s 52 Photos Project. This week’s prompt is “stones”.
This breakwater is made of lava rocks/stones.
I took this on the first day of vacation in Kaua’i. This was our first look at the Pacific Ocean in the daylight! We were out for breakfast and this was the view from the open-air restaurant. The sand was a beautiful golden colour. The waters of the Pacific were many wonderful shades of sparkling blue & turquoise in the sunshine.
This shot is a little closer to home. It is an INUKSHUK we found tucked into a little niche on the shores of Lake Ontario, at Sandbanks Provincial Park. The water’s edge at this section of the lake is very rocky. The INUKSHUK was made using the loose stones laying around on the shore.
Now don’t forget to check out Bella’s Flickr page or on Instagram #52photosproject. You can also follow me @basildonkitchens.
Thank you for visiting. Until next time, Connie 🙂
