This week I am joining Michelle’s annual Gratitude Week 2015. I, like everyone else out there, get caught up in the hustle & bustle of everyday life and feel stressed and frazzled…and this is a really good practice to get into, to help remind us how much we actually have. Slowing down, noticing the little things around you and being grateful for them.
Today (this morning, actually) I was noticing how the sun is just waking up as I drive to work. The days are getting shorter, here in the northern hemisphere. It was a frosty morning, so that sunshine was really welcome. I noticed the morning’s mists, slowly rising as that sun climbed higher. I love how the sun is reflected on the still water of my favourite wetland.
I’m grateful for that sunshine & it’s warmth through the car windows. Even while at work, I’m grateful that I have a great big window to see today’s sun.
One of the best things in my little world, is that I have views like the one above, on my daily commute. I am grateful that I am no longer commuting in a very congested, metropolis.
