January 2016 – week four

Welcome to the last week of January and this week’s edition of my photo-a-day challenge. The weather here in Southern Ontario has been pretty good; no significant accumulation of snow, no extremely cold temperatures and no freezing rain! All in all, a good week!

Here are this week’s photos:

January 24 – this window has seen better days.

January 25 – a pair of ornate candlesticks. I thought that the black and white treatment was perfect here.

January 26 – memories of last summer at Sandbanks Provincial Park. I love the simplicity of this; the colours and the overcast day made for a wonderful view.

January 27 – this is my telephone at work; and because many have asked, there are 8 incoming lines & 48 extensions. It is not as complicated as it looks!

January 28 – white on white; more snow falling on existing snow(from last year)

January 29 – on a chilly winter’s day, it is very cozy beside the fireplace.
