Thursday Doors …

Welcome back.  Today I’m linking to Norm 2.0‘s Thursday Doors feature.

Today I am sharing another door from Charleston, SC. This is an ordinary door that opens onto a very pretty little balcony, right above a cobblestone alley, just off a busy street. I imagine that it would be pretty lively late in the evenings, as it is in an area of many great restaurants.

I love everything about this … the muted soft brown of the brick; the architectural details above & below the windows & door; the pretty iron balcony rail, and of course, I am drawn to the green color of the door itself. Simple & elegant!

Do you like doors? You too, can join Thursday Doors; click on the link, to connect to Norm’s site, and follow the directions.  You will see lots, and lots of doors…

Thanks for visiting…until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.

  1. I love balconies like that. Makes me think of Romeo and Juliette every time I see one. I wonder how “Oh Romeo, Romeo wherefore art tho” sounds with a Charleston accent 😉
    Nice shot!
