February 2016 – week seven

Welcome to week seven of my photo-a-day challenge. It has been an interesting week of weather here; record breaking snow fall; followed by a few days of bitter cold temperatures & finishing out the week with warm temperatures (above zero Celsius) & rain!

Now here are this week’s photos:

February 14 – it makes me VERY happy that my mom is still around!  She just turned 85 and is a three-time cancer survivor. She faces every day with joy & wonder…and a good measure of humour.

February 15 – lots of movement today; it’s a travel day, returning home down the highway after visiting family.

February 16 – my baking counter in my kitchen.

February 17 – the only pop of colour today are my car tail lights. We received a record-breaking 24″ of snow!

February 18 – I didn’t have to look far for something old; I pass this dilapidated house every day to & from work. I wonder how long before it collapses completely!

February 19 – these are my favourite letters in the mornings, especially after a particularly harrowing drive to work.

February 20 – my outfit today got a bit muddy with the rain & unseasonably warm temperatures.

How was your week?  Are you experiencing similar weather? How did  it impact you?

Thank you for visiting; keep well.  Until next time, Connie 😃
