February 2016- week eight

Welcome back to my photo-a-day journey. We are still in the grip of winter here and I had my first ‘snow day’ of the year this week, though it was more of an ‘ice day’ due to freezing rain. You will notice that I pulled some warmer weather photos from the archives to make up for the nasty, grey days we have been having.

February 21  – a product I love is this new yarn…it is soft, & handles like a dream. This is going to be a cowl, & a gift for a good friend.

February 22 – bokeh; and looking forward to spring!

February 23 – starts with ‘t’; this is an old guard tower at Camp Picton.

February 24 – my drink of choice; I can’t start my day without my coffee; this particular day while watching the freezing rain from inside, where I was dry & cosy.

February 25 – cookies are so much nicer with a few sprinkles on them, don’t you agree?

February 26 – I love the early morning quiet, before the rest of the world wakes up. This is sunrise on my street.

February 26 (58/366) Another shot from vacation, looking up at a palm tree from a low angle. I love palm trees!  They seem so exotic to me being from the northern hemisphere!
