March 2016 – week twelve

Welcome back to this week’s edition of my photo-a-day challenge. The weather has been typically changeable; warm & rainy one day to an icy, freezing rain storm to round out the week. I hope everyone is safe out there!

Now on to this week’s photos:

March 20 – floral; last season’s Queen Anne Lace is the closest thing to floral in my neck of the woods

March 21 – details; I love the details in the centre of this water lily – it is iridescent!

March 22 – life; I stopped at my favourite wetland this particular morning and saw Mr. & Mrs. Canada Goose marking their territory (very loudly!). They are nesting, starting this year’s new family. Spring is the time of renewed life.

March 23 – variety; I love the great variety of shorebirds on the Gulf of Mexico…especially the comical pelicans!

March 24 – what motivates me; nature inspires me; the creative process motivates & challenges me.

March 25 – happiness…is an Easter card personalized by my 1 year old granddaughter! Too cute not to share! 🙂

March 26 – pastel; a beautiful hand made bowl in lovely pastel shades of the beach!
