This Monday finds me trying to stay dry…heavy rain is forecast for the entire day; so today’s photo is from yesterday’s spring walk.
Today I am:
- happy the rain is washing away winter’s grime
- happy the rain is helping all my perennials to grow
- happy that is finally warm enough for a light coat
- happy to see all the little bits of green appearing everywhere
- happy to hear lots & lots of birds singing this morning

It’s a batten-down-the-hatches, blustery, rain-pelting-the-windows kind of day.
… but we have no snow, the ice has melted from last week’s ice storm, and April is almost here 🙂

Hi Connie, we had lots of rain yesterday, a record break according with the news. Today lots of wind, perfect to be at home, school holidays for the kids, so I skipped the work as well. 🙂
