April 2016 – week 17

Welcome to another week of my photo-a-day challenge.  Spring is finally here; all the snow is gone; the temperatures are consistently above zero C and believe it or not; we are hoping for rain…it is really dry here…

Now on to this week’s photos:

April 24 – Sunday morning; enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in the early morning sun, before the rest of the world wakes up

Sunday morning
April 25 – shoes; even though the weather is getting warmer, it’s not flip flop time yet (memories of the beach in Kauai)

April 26 – free choice; this month’s photo assignment at my local photo club was ‘reflections’. This is one of my submissions…it was a super quiet & very foggy morning. This is Picton Harbour in the early spring; you can still see some snow laying about.

free choice
April 27 – what I see; I pass this pond each day on my way to & from work. Here are a pair of Canada Geese looking for breakfast…

what i see
April 28 – technology; of course it has to be my MAC!

April 29 – on the floor; this is the floor of the elevator in the St. Regis Hotel in Princeville, Kaua’i – it was a gorgeous mosaic of many different types of stone & marble to depict the state flower, the hibiscus! (and of course those flip flops again)

on the floor
April 30 – still; here is the very still Bay of Quinte, early one morning. I cross this bridge twice each work day…I love the soft pastel of the early morning and the beautiful reflections.
