Monday’s …

This Monday is a holiday here in Canada. It is Victoria Day where we celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday. I am celebrating spring…and all it has to offer:

new robin’s nest on my clothes line
make a wish….
white lilac buds
deep purple lilac buds
chives ready to blossom

This Monday finds me:

  • Enjoying my morning coffee outside listening to all kinds of bird song
  • Planning a wonderful barbecue dinner with hubby
  • Happy to feel the warm sun on my face
  • Looking forward to a long nature hike with hubby & my camera
  • Finding time to catch up on my reading …a good book is waiting for me to get lost in the adventure

I wish you all a great Monday too, whatever you are up too. Thank you for visiting!

Until next time, Connie πŸ˜ƒ

  1. Love your photos! As for me, it’s a normal work day here in the states. Raining with no one’s birthday to celebrate… But looking forward to the upcoming three day weekend πŸ˜ƒ

  2. That sounds like a lovely day! I wonder why we Brits in UK don’t get a public holiday? Victoria was our queen too, perhaps I should write to the current queen and ask!
Great photos, I loved the lilac.

  3. I work at K-Mart in Upstate New York. Yesterday we had a lot more Canadian customers than normal, because of the holiday. I live about 30 minutes from the border.
