Mondays ….

This Monday I’m so thrilled to see my columbine blooming.

I love the these little flowers … I think they look like shooting stars! This year they had a rough start with some early damaging frost. I didn’t think they would actually bloom, but here they are 🙂

Today I am:

  • happy to drive to work on a beautiful, sunny morning;
  • enjoying a my morning coffee, listening to the birdsong;
  • looking forward to lunch in the park;
  • happy to have out of town family visiting;
  • wishing for some rain; we REALLY need it!

I wish you a great Monday, whatever it is you are doing. Happy Memorial Day to all my friends in the United States!

Thank you for visiting. Until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.

      1. This is very strange: I searched my archives for a photo of my columbines and I found none, while it is my favourite flower! Now the flowers are already gone, so we will have to wait till next year. In the meantime you can have a look at the Wikipedia article where a double-flowered specimen is shown.

  1. oh my goodness, how long have you had this look? I’m ashamed to say, it’s been far too long since I paid you a visit. Those flower and the color are so gorgeous but more than that, I so love to read your gratitude. It immediately puts a smile on my face.

    1. The look is about a month old. I just needed a change. I’m so happy you stopped by. 😄 I’ve been on your blog, just not commenting… It’s been a rough few months. Your ‘ordinary’ lifts me everyday. 💖
