Welcome back to this week’s review of my photo-a-day challenge. Summer is almost upon us and the weather is reflecting that. Today’s header shot was taken one evening last week when the setting sun slipped behind our gazebo and it was just magical (taken with my iPhone4s).
On to this week’s contributions:
June 12 – the weather today; it started out perfect – sunny with a great breeze – but before mid-morning, it cooled down considerably and wasn’t very pleasant at all; overcast & blustery and quite cool! I did get a photo of the early morning sun on the backyard & that makes me happy 🙂
June 13 – walk; this is from our last Florida vacation, a sunset walk on the beach.
June 14 – dessert; how about some homemade Pecan Pie? The recipe is from a book I picked up the last time I was in Charleston, SC called “Mrs. Rowe’s Little Book of Southern Pies”. It is my plan to make every pie in the that book! Yes, it was very yummy!!! (If you are interested in the recipe, let me know in the comments and I will share it with you)
June 15 – hello; Hello from my hubby
June 16 – free choice; I love all the different grasses and how they bloom. This is from the field adjacent to my yard.
June 17 – I found this; a bird’s nest in between the vines at a local vineyard…how cool is that!
June 18 – curly; local Pinot Noir coming along nicely.
