Hello and welcome back to week 25 of my photo-a-day challenge. Summer is finally here and the weather has been spectacular; not too hot and not too humid. The local farm stands are filling with seasonal produce and life is grand!
Here are this week’s photos:
June 19 – dad; my dad has been gone for over 30 years but I found this great shot in an old photo album. It was taken over 50 years ago, one Sunday morning just before heading to church. Don’t you just love the hats!
June 20 – my view today; this is the view as I left for work, the view for the rest of the day was a boring old computer screen. It’s not so bad knowing this is what awaits me at the end of the day 🙂
June 21 – from above; vacation memories…looking down on the Pacific Ocean and the Na Pali coast from the Kalalau Lookout at the top of the Waimea Canyon (Kaua’i)
June 22 – peace; what could be more peaceful than an afternoon at the lake side after everyone has gone home! This is Sandbanks Provincial Park on a particularly quiet afternoon.
June 23 – an animal; sheep! I love them. These two were at a farm next to one of our local wineries.
June 24 – chaos; the Main St of our little town is complete chaos as they replace old water mains. It is necesary work, but I am sure EVERYONE will be extremely happy when they are finished. Between parking shortages and detours, the added traffic of the summer tourists are making ‘getting around town’ a challenge.
June 25 – an errand; isn’t it always the case…just when you think you have everything, you are missing just one last item.

Until next time, Connie 🙂
