July 2015 – week 27

Welcome back! Can you believe it, this week we begin the second half of the year. Summer is here; hot & humid weather is upon us. We have been looking forward to this for many months.

Here are this week’s photos:

July 3 – what I did today; I went for an early morning walk – with my camera, of course!

July 4 – patriotic; Mr Sock Monkey was wishing all our American friends a wonderful Independence Day. Here we are showing our patriotic Canadian colours on Canada Day at a local marina!

July 5 – salty; a little more or a little less – all according to your own taste.

July 6 – an accessory; two planters full of bright red, blooming geraniums are the perfect accessory for our gazebo. We spend lots of time here in the summer.

July 7 – nature; wind whistling throught the long grass – simple beauty.

July 8 – what I see; an empty coffee cup while anxiously waiting for the coffee to brew …

July 9 – supplies; ready for a morning of baking … I think some Chai Snickerdoodles are in order. Yum!
