August 2016 – week 32

Welcome back! It has been another very hot & humid week. So hot in fact, that we broke all previous records on a couple of days. You will notice how brown the grass is in many of my photos this week. But, we did get some much needed rain on Saturday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Now on to this week’s photos….

August 7 – I bought this; wonderful, juicy field tomatoes at a local farm stand!

August 8 – together; blue skies & fuffy clouds together – the mark of a perfect summer’s day!

August 9 – my view today; taken while walking through the Oeno Gallery sculpture garden. I love this particular piece of metal art.

August 10 – abstract; another shot from the Oeno Gallery, looking at one piece of abstract art as seen through a second piece.

August 11 – mirror; summertime reflections in the pond (also at Oeno Gallery)

August 12 – a summer drink; I love a gin & tonic on a hot summer’s evening…especially if it’s made with great local Loyalist Gin from the Gilead 66 Distillery.

August 13 – down the street; a traveling day so this is one from my archives…a lovely cobblestone street in historic Charleston, SC!
