Welcome back to this week’s photo-a-day challenge.
It continues to be very warm here, though the mornings are starting to get a bit cooler. Thankfully, we have also had a little more rain and the landscape is a bit greener. There is dew on the car when I leave for work, and wonderful layers of mist playing on the landscape on my way to work. You can definitely feel the end of summer very quickly approaching.
Now on to this week’s photos:
August 21 – faceless; my faceless reflection in one of my windows.
August 22 – creative blur; a slightly longer shutter speed produces a pretty blur effect on the water as it tumbles over the rocks.
August 23 – beneath my feet; in my backyard…this is a rock that sits on our stream bank. I love the the fuzzy layer of moss on it.
August 24 – flowers; I stumbled upon this little star shapped flower on the shores of the marsh. I have never seen this one before. I don’t know what it is, but I think it is very pretty. It is only about the size of your thumbnail.
August 25 – frozen; it’s summertime so this is my favourite frozen thing – ice cream! In this particular case, it’s also my favourite flavour (at the moment 😉 ) peanut butter & chocolate. Yum!
August 26 – water; the very still water at my favourite marshland in the early morning sun.
August 27 – free choice; a field of happy sheep one morning on the way to work. I have the best commute!
