October 2016 – week 41

Welcome to this week’s edition of my photo-a-day challenge.

We have returned from our vacation, and are now into autumn with cool nights, frosty mornings and warmer days. The mornings are pretty with mist in low lying areas. The trees are all showing off their wonderful yellow, orange & reds…all so vibrant.

Now on to this week’s photos:

October 9 – I love this; an early coffee date with my sweetie, on our last day of traveling home from our vacation.

October 10 – solo; this heron was solo on the beach, looking for his dinner before the big storm hit. It was a bit eery…VERY few birds, wildlife or even people.

October 11 – my favourite snack; I love nuts for a quick hit of energy … in this case some fresh Georgia pecans that we picked up on our way home …fresh from the farm!

October 12 – what I do best; I try to find a little beauty in each & every day. Here are some pretty red berries on a neglected bush that sits at the edge of the parking lot at our office.

Processed with Snapseed.

October 13 – my afternoon; I returned to work and found that I needed a new hard drive for my work computer. This is day two of a frustrating repair…

October 14 – stairs; the fabulous staircase at the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. The building is just as amazing as the art!

October 15 – cool; a cool prerspective on the last sunset of our vacation … I love the view from the boardwalk.

I hope you had a great week. Remember that you can join in the fun on Instagram #thebethadillychallenge or follow me @BasildonKitchens.

Thanks for visiting…until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
