It is through gratitude for the present moment
that the spiritual dimension of life opens up.
Each November, my on-line friend, Michelle, invites us to a week of exploring gratitude. Join me through this year’s process…
Consider your five senses as you pay attention to the goodness that fills your now.
Sight, Sound, Touch, Taste, Smell.
Sight: I see the sunlight shining on & through what is left of the autumn colors on the trees
Sound: the crunch of the fallen leaves on my driveway, as I walk to my car in the dark
Touch: my cozy, fleece house-coat in the chilly morning hour as I get ready for work
Smell: that specific autumn scent of those fallen leaves, starting to decompose…
My gratitude today:
- I am so grateful that I am able to experience all these senses;
- I am grateful for a home to call my own;
- I am grateful to live where each season has something wonderful to offer;
- …and coffee! (those who know me, know how I LOVE my morning coffee)!
How about you? What are you grateful for today?
Thank you for visiting, until next time, Connie 🙂
