Gratitude Week 2016 – Wednesday

Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.
~John Milton~

Take some time today to step outside or to sit in a favorite spot in your home. Take five minutes (yes, you can carve out five) and get quiet. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, then open your eyes. What delights you, what shakes you, what makes you say oh my? Right there, my friend, will be a sliver of gratitude

I like to read Michelle’s notes in the morning, before I start my day. What a lovely way to start my day. Today’s sunrise was created for just this gratitude… All of these photos were taken at one of my favourite spots to stop and breath; to get grounded (literally) for the day ahead; and with my iPhone (no filter). {click on any photo to see a larger version}

Today’s gratitude: even though I would rather stay in my warm, cozy bed; views like this make me grateful for my early morning commute.

How about you?  What are you grateful for today?

Thank you for visiting, until next time, Connie🙂
