Welcome! Here we are in November already…I can hardly believe how quickly time is marching on. The weather here in South-Eastern Ontario has been a glorious, brilliant autumn. Though many of the trees are already bare, there are still a lot laden with bright colours. The days are shorter, and the nights are hovering near 0C (32F) but we have not experienced a significant frost yet.
Now on to this week’s photos:
October 30 – autumn; one of the local roads in my neighbourhood! You wouldn’t know that it was a dull & dreary day, threatening rain all day long!
October 31 – free choice; another one from my photo walk on the weekend. This one was taken at the mill pond near us.
Another month complete…here is October at a glance 🙂
November 1 – hot; the best way to start my day … with a HOT cup of coffee!
November 2 – a high angle; looking down on my cozy living room (bravely posted before a ‘tidy-up’)
November 3 – baking; it’s getting to be the time of year that we will be baking lots and lots of treats & goodies … and a few really good dinners too!
November 4 – scarf; my favourite pashmina … and it’s RED! (I love red!)
November 5 – kindness; meet Buttercup. She was given to my mom in her last days by one of her palliative care-givers, to make her smile and let her know how much she cherished their friendship. Buttercup has been with me since mom’s passing. She makes me smile; makes me glad mom was surrounded by such kind and caring people during the times when I couldn’t be. It gives me some comfort too.
I hope that you all had a great week. Remember that you can join in the fun on Instagram #thebethadillychallenge or follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Thank you for visiting … until next time, Connie 🙂
