December 2016 – week 49

Welcome back to my 2016 photo-a-day challenge.  I can’t believe how this year has flown, only 3 more weeks to go!

The weather has been decidedly colder, however no snow yet (at least none that stayed on the ground). It is getting very chilly though, this morning it was a brisk -8C (17F)!  Brrr!!!

Now on to this week’s photos:

December 4 – from behind … the chain link fence, an old, abandoned boat!

December 5 – wish list; I love a white Christmas…one thing always on my wish list. Looks like this one may come true!

December 6 – lights; it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house!

December 7 – free choice; one of the prettiest window displays in the little town of Bloomfield, ON.

December 8 – bundled up; Mr Sock Monkey is all bundled up, ready to go out in the snow when it finally arrives!

December 9 – tree; Christmas trees are everywhere…even at the office.

December 10 – ’tis the season’; to start decorating the house for Christmas, including the tree!

… and a bonus; Instagram’s best nine of 2016 (by ‘likes’). I love how this turned out! Thank you to everyone that ‘liked’ my photos! 🙂

    1. I use both-the boat behind the fence, tree bokeh, stars in the window & close up ornaments were with my camera. The rest are with my phone.

It was snowing all day here but lightly. I don’t know what to expect for my drive to work in the morning. Fingers crossed.

  1. Thanks for a touch of Christmas. We are in the process of moving onto our farm and have little energy to do much that is festive. (Well, today we get to shovel snow. 🙄) Living from boxes can be arduous. …. This is my first visit to WordPress in months. Looking forward to finding a routine again. All the best of the season you. 🎄
