December 2016 – week 51

Merry Christmas!  Welcome back to this weeks’s photo-a-day review on the second last week of the year.

This week has been fairly mild for December; but the ground is still white! I love a white Christmas, don’t you?

Now on to this week’s photos:

December 18 – a cup of cheer. Who doesnt’ love a hot chocolate after a chilly afternoon walk, all the more festive in a holiday mug.

December 19 – a gift; …this one just appeared in my office! Don’t you just love this time of year? (and a perfect opportunity to play with some cool editing apps too!)

December 20 – white; a blanket of white all over the yard, just a few bits of grass sticking out to show the edge of the creek bed.

December 21 – winter; here is my sleeping herb garden on this the winter solstice. The best part is that the days will be getting longer again!

December 22 – a holiday treat; slightly off prompt today…but isn’t this the cutest little angel that is now hanging on my tree!

December 23 – gold; more favourite ornaments! It’s such a sparkly time of year!

December 24 – the night before; enjoying a glass of wine, good company, & great smells coming from the kitchen while waiting for Santa! Merry Christmas, everyone!

I want to wish all of you, no matter where you are … a Merry Christmas or Happy Hannuakh, or whatever you are you are celebrating.  May you be blessed with all the good tidings of the holiday season and may it bring you much joy & happiness.

Remember that you can join in the fun on Instagram by tagging your photos with #thebethadillychallenge or follow me @BasildonKitchens.

Thank you for visiting, until next time, Connie 🙂

I am living my dream life in the country! I love photography, travelling, cooking, baking and I even try my hand at quilting.
