Welcome back to my photo-a-day journey. This year, I am attempting something a little different. I am not following a set list of daily prompts; instead I am posting a photo daily. Let’s see how that goes … so far so good!
This week’s weather has been more typically like January; cold, snow, wind and a bit of freezing rain for good measure.
Now on to this week’s photos:
January 22 – window light; we are still experiencing shorter days, many of which are dull & grey. Here I was looking for a bit of color and placed a favourte vase in the window to catch some light.
January 23 – foggy morning; a quick stop on my way to work to capture the cold, foggy Bay of Quinte.
January 24 – snowy day; it snowed lightly most of the day. This a a view of one of the parks found along the Bay of Quinte. This is acutally a full colour photo.
January 25 – pre-dawn; the sun is rising earlier again and I stopped at my favourite marshland for a photo. I’m loving the fact that the days are getting longer.
January 26 – morning walk; another foggy morning, and I thought the street light & bare tree limbs looked interesting.
January 27 – remembering warmer weather; even though the days are getting longer, there has been a definite lack of sunshine. I needed to find some warmth, so here is a warm memory from our last vacation. A Florida sunset over the Gulf of Mexico at John’s Pass.
January 28 – waiting for the ferry; we are heading to Kingston, ON to do a bit of shopping. How fun to have a ferry ride as part of the journey.
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
