Welcome back to my photo-a-day journey. This year, I am attempting something a little different. I am not following a set list of daily prompts; instead I am posting a photo daily. Let’s see how that goes … so far so good!
This week’s weather has been very changeable, not in keeping with a usual February; one day warm the next very chilly again…it’s hard to know what to expect!
Now on to this week’s photos:
February 26 – flowers from a friend; this very pretty bouquet arrived on my doorstep on a very rainy, Saturday morning! What a wonderful way to brighten up my day!
February 27 – feeling a little fuzzy; nothing better than a cup of coffee while cuddling under a favourite quilt to make things better!
February 28 – morning shadows; a new day and another change in the weather; the snow is gone and there is a distinct feeling of spring in the air. I just love the crisp shadows this time of year.
March 1 – sink side stories; this bloom was part of another bouquet but the stem broke. There is no need to discard it, as it’s beauty now can grace a smaller space. The pretty yellow brightens up my counter!
March 2 – another day, another coffee; my day just isn’t the same if I don’t get my coffee…It’s a whole combination of things…the ritual to prepare it, the aromas as it is brewing…and that first sip….pure joy!
March 3 – hints of spring; this time of year I am always looking for some bright hits of colour.
March 4 – between snow squalls; watching the weather while waiting for the ferry!
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
