Welcome back to my photo-a-day journey. This year, I am not following a set list of daily prompts; instead I am posting a photo daily. Let’s see how that goes … so far so good!
This week’s weather has put us back into full winter mode! The week started very cold & we received almost a foot of snow midweek. It is warmer now, but a little more snow is predicted again. Just typical March weather.
Now on to this week’s photos:
March 12 – frosty creek; it was very cold early in the week. Our little creek had some interesting ice formations in it, even producing a little water fall!
March 13 – sunrise reflections; we were on the road early for an appointment and I caught a soft looking sunrise reflected in the side view mirror. (Note the complete lack of snow here!)
March 14 – taking flight; a flock of seagulls down at Picton Harbour.
March 15 – still snowing; the snow started late in the afternoon on the previous day, and continued all day and into the next night as well, finally amounting to approximately a foot of snow.
March 16 – drifts; after the snow, came the winds to sculpt the snow into amazing shapes. Mother Nature is very talented, indeed.
March 17 – tropical green; in honour of St. Patrick’s Day, here is some green, however, due to the cold & snow this week, I was looking for something warmer! The lush, green of Kaua’i is just what we need right now.
March 18 – snowy road; back to my neck of the woods as I went for a walk around my block.
How was your week? What did you get up to? Whatever adventure you found, I hope it was a good one! 🙂
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
