Weekly Challenge – “Shadows”

Welcome back to my 52 week photo challenge, where each prompt is designed to help you build your photographic skills.

This week we are exploring ‘shadows’.

Shadows add interest to a photo…they can be very artistic or even add drama; or simply lead your eyes to your intended subject.

Here are some of my shadow photos…

burdock
pretty shadows in the snow
sunlight through the vase
long shadows at sunrise add drama
sunset reflection
shadows adding interest
pillow of snow
the surrounding shadows make you focus on the snow
drifts along the fence b&w
shadows add drama; and are very important in black & white photographs

Thank you for visiting. Until next time, Connie 🙂

  1. I’ve always loved shadows on the snow. And I love the shadow across the face too…surprisingly because I always try to avoid shadows on peopke but this one is totally cool and interesting.
