Welcome back to my photo-a-day journey. This year, I am not following a set list of daily prompts; instead I am posting a photo daily. Let’s see how that goes … so far so good!
This week’s weather has been March going out like a lion! Cold, damp, rain, snow, grey skies. This can only mean that warmer temperatures and spring blooms are just around the corner!
Now onto this week’s photos:
March 26 – “Maple in the County”; this is the first of many local events…and is a welcome sign if spring…tapping and boiling down maple sap into that wonderful amber liquid. This is one of the many ‘sugar shacks’ in our neck of the woods. Hope you had a chance to visit and pick up a litre or two of syrup!
March 27 – spring beach; another famous location here in the county…Sandbanks Provincial Park. This is near Outlet Beach…not much ice left, but it will still be a while before we see people splashing in the water. The wind is still very COLD!
March 28 – barn & silos; even falling down, I think it’s beautiful!
March 29 – foggy morning; the change of seasons bring warm & cold air together … making for wonderful photo opportunities. This is somewhere on my daily commute.
March 30 – spring fog; another day and more fog … I keep my camera handy these days!
March 31 – friendship; a wonderful bunch of roses from a girlfriend, just because!
March 2017 – that’s a wrap! I really like to see the whole month at a glance!
April 1 – coffee time & watching snow fall; I guess the snow falling is Mother Nature’s April Fools joke! Thankfully, it is not staying on the ground and tomorrow is predicted to be sunny & warmer. We are REALLY looking forward to spring!
As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
