Welcome back to my 52 week photo challenge, where each prompt is designed to help you build your photographic skills.
I’ve been travelling and just plain busy lately, so I will be catching up over the next several posts. (Thank you for your indulgence).
Week 14 is ‘free choice’.
I was playing around with some editing programs and was having a bit of fun with Snapseed. I layered two photos for an interesting double exposure effect; with this result! I kind of like it!
I started with a pretty view from my front yard of the trees behind my house. I love the shapes of the tree branches against the clear blue sky. You can just see the buds forming.
Then I took one of my recent (post-surgery) selfies and superimposed it over the top and played with the opacity until I arrived at something that I liked. (I think it is how this effect covers up the scar, that I like so much) but the finished photo is pretty cool!
Do you play with editing apps? What are your favourites?
Thank you for visiting. Until next time, Connie 🙂
