Welcome back to this year’s photo-a-day journey where I’m sharing little bits of my daily life & travels.
This week’s weather is getting warmer. I am really enjoying a ‘true’ spring, unlike the last several years of winter’s cold, a day or two of rain, then summer’s heat…it is so much nicer to ease into the warmer weather; at least in my humble opinion. 😄
Now onto this week’s photos:
April 23 – girlfriend coffee dates are the best – had a great time catching up…don’t you love when you can pick up a conversation like it’s only been since yesterday, when in fact it’s been much longer than that? The sign of a great friendship!

April 24 – the tree – I love seeing the skeletal shapes of the trees at this time of year.

April 25 – sprouting – seen while hiking on a beautiful sunny day!

April 26 – abandoned – I don’t know what draws me to abandoned vehicles, but they are a favourite subject of mine.

April 27 – collage of some of the beautiful flowers in a fabulous bouquet I received for Administrative Professionals’ Day. Thanks…it’s so nice to know you are appreciated!

April 28 – new growth on the forest floor. I love the light between the trees.

April 29 – the early bird – this happy little chap had been serenading me since 5:00 AM. A lovely song, but doesn’t he/she know it’s Saturday?

As always, I thank you for visiting. Feel free to join in on Instagram, #ciuan365 or #nothingisordinary or you can just follow me @BasildonKitchens.
Until next time, Connie 🙂
Connie, these photographs are GORGEOUS! I am like you, I like easing into summer. It is so nice to be having a real spring again, it’s been too long! xx
