Weekly challenge – framing

Welcome back to my 52 week photo challenge, where each prompt is designed to help you build your photographic skills.  {Note: I am still trying to get caught up with this weekly challenge.}

In this post we are exploring “framing”.

Framing is one of my favourite ways to bring attention to the subject.

Here a couple of my ‘wonky’ maple trees, forever twisted and leaning from the constant westerly wind, are framing the view over our back fence:

I stumbled upon this view while wandering the streets & lanes of historic Charleston, SC; the reflection is literaly framed:

Often when taking scenery shots, I like using the natural plants & trees as a frame; it adds a bit of interest:

Another happy discovery, the trees framed a little clearing on the hiking trail:

Thank you for visiting. Until next time, Connie 🙂
